Open the DoorDash app and tap "Going Out" in the navigation. From there, link your credit or debit card - it takes under 60 seconds. Once your card is linked, you'll automatically earn credits every time you dine at a participating restaurant. No further setup needed.

You can link any Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card - credit or debit. You can add multiple cards and switch between them anytime in the app. Just make sure to pay at the restaurant with the card you have linked

Credits typically appear in your DoorDash wallet within 24 - 48 hours of your transaction clearing. You'll get a push notification the moment they land

Credits earned through Going Out can be used on anything in DoorDash - delivery orders, pickup, gift cards, or DashMart. They're applied automatically at checkout and never expire as long as your account is active.

You need an active DashPass subscription to earn credits through card linking. Reservations are open to all DoorDash users, but DashPass members get access to priority reservation windows, better tables, and higher credit-back rates.

Credits are only awarded when you pay with a linked card. If you pay with cash, a different card, or split the bill across multiple payment methods, the transaction won't qualify for that visit. We recommend linking the card you use most often so you never miss out.
